Internal Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin told a meeting of the national anti-terrorism body that Serbia is safe thanks to its political stability and the efforts of its security services.
Speaking at a meeting of the National Coordination Body for the Prevention of and Combating of Terrorism which discussed the current security situation in the region, Vulin said that Serbian security services “are doing their job very professionally and responsibly”. He added that they “are managing to protect and maintain the peace and stability of the country”.
“Our Serbia is stable and secure thanks to political stability, the clear leadership of the state by President Aleksandar Vucic and thanks to the operations of our services. Every investment in our security sector is an investment into peace and stability,” Vulin is quoted as saying in a ministry press release.
He said that the state is taking care of its citizens and that “peace and stability will be preserved despite all pressure and threats”.
