Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated Saturday that the session of the National Security Council was postponed due to the expert evaluation of evidence on the criminal group of Veljko Belivuk, so as not to jeopardize the evidentiary hearing, and announced it would be held no later than Thursday.

„We’re having some formal-legal issues and we’re waiting for an additional expert evaluation so that someone couldn’t tell us that the evidence we showed to the citizens cannot be used in the evidentiary hearing. That’s why we’re waiting for the evaluation to end,“ Vucic said during a guest appearance on Prva TV.

Vucic previously announced the holding of a session of the National Security Council, at which he was supposed to publish evidence regarding the Belivuk group.

He said that the publication of those details would shock the citizens of Serbia, but also the whole of Europe and the world.

The Serbian President also stated that an organized criminal group is working on discrediting him, but also that a large number of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are involved in that.
