European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo Viola Von Cramon MEP said the Kosovo Government has a proposal for the implementation of the agreement on the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM).

Von Cramon told KTV Kohavision that this was a good sign and that there can be no dialogue if one side has only one request – immediate recognition.
Before a final agreement is reached, Belgrade and Pristina must implement all the existing agreements, including the one on the Community of Serb Municipalities, KoSSev reported.

Commenting Kosovo PM Albin Kurti’s latest reaction to the CSM, Von Cramon said she thinks things are changing. “That’s good news”, she said and added that she sees the change in Pristina’s stand on this issue as a compromise.

Kosovo PM Albin Kurti reacted to Von Cramon’s statement saying that he knows nothing about a government proposal to set up a Community of Serb Municipalities.

Viola von Cramon MEP warned that the Open Balkan initiative is dangerous because it is an attempt to establish a parallel regional cooperation structure not based on European Union standards.
