US allocates $ 22 million additional aid to Serbia’s reforms

Jadranka Joksimovic, Serbia’s Minister of European Integrations, and Shanley Pinchotti, director of the Office for Democratic and Economic Development within USAID, signed an extended strategic partnership in which the US allocated another 22 million Dollars in aid to Serbia’s reforms.

The money is meant to help the economy’s competitiveness, improve administration in providing services to citizens, media environment, energy safety and support of fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic.

Antony Godfrey, the US ambassador to Serbia, said that a lot was done to improve the country’s economy in 2021.

Pinchotti said the new USAID five-year Strategy would help Serbia to improve in the European integrations.
