Out of three earthquakes, the first of 2.4 on the Richter scale was registered with the epicentre near Strpce early on Monday, followed by the second of 2.9 magnitudes in the area of Stimlje, both in Kosovo’s southeastern district of Urosevac (Ferizaj), Serbia’s Seismological Institute said.

Serbia’s state RTS TV reported the third one of 2.6 on the Richter scale magnitude was registered in the same region an hour after the second tremor.

Earthquakes of such intensity cannot cause damage to buildings in the epicentral area.
