Three Serbian hospitals to step out of COVID system

The head of the Belgrade Infectious Diseases Clinic said on Wednesday that three hospitals would be taken out of the Serbian COVID system.

Dr Goran Stevanovic specified that the Zvezdara and Dragisa Misovic Clinical Hospital Centers in Belgrade and the General Hospital in the town of Mladenovac would be taken out of the COVID system and return to normal operation. Speaking after a meeting with Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar, he said that the Zvezdara hospital would return to normal operations over the weekend, the Dragisa Misovic hospital early next week and the hospital in Mladenovac later in the week.

He said that is an indication that the pandemic sitaution is easing but warned that it is far from over.
