Former Serbian President the leader of the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) Boris Tadic stated on Sunday that the opposition in Serbia needs a joint agreement and strategy to win against the incumbent President Aleksandar Vucic, and that platforms are less important for success.

He said that there is no conversation within the opposition, criticizing the communication that takes place through the media.

„Instead of an agreement, the opposition uses all possible circumstances to reach new divisions,“ he pointed out and estimated that valuable time had been lost so far, which could have been used to make an opposition agreement.

He criticizes the opposition for not dealing with everyday topics and recalled that no opposition party has come up with a proposal on how to fight the latest coronavirus wave.

As a result of the passivity of the opposition, he said, 30% of citizens are undecided, noting that these citizens are preoccupied with their personal problems, which no one talks about.
