Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia's President, said on Tuesday he carefully watched the events in Sarajevo and Banja Luka and that it should preserve peace and work on the economy.

Referring to the outgoing High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Valentin Incko ban on denying genocide and glorifying war criminals, Vucic said: „It goes without saying that imposing and declaring decisions from the outside could never bring good results.“

He added he would meet the Republika Srpska (RS), the Serb-dominated entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, leadership during the commemoration of the Croatian Army and police „Storm“ operation from 1995.

„We are informed, and we follow everything, and, certainly, we cannot leave RS in any economical or any other problem,“ Vucic said.

He said he was right in fearing that the atmosphere in BiH was „the hottest since the Dayton Agreement,“ but that he hoped that everyone knew how important to preserve peace.

„We must try to establish brotherly relations with Bosniaks,“ Vucic added.
