Belgrade will remain "reliable supporter of Republika Srpska (RS, the Serb-dominated entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina), in all its efforts towards peace, general welfare and a better life for all of us," Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic has said on Friday in a congratulatory message to RS' President Zeljka Cvijanovic ahead of the entity's Day on May 9.

„Preserving peace in RS as a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the strongest incentive for the continuation of our firm and fruitful cooperation and links in economy, culture and every other walk of life,“ Vucic said.

He added that RS „today, more than ever, needs faith, unity and force to overcome all consequences of this coronavirus pandemic that rocked the whole world, but also more energy, hope and self-confidence to progress on the road to development and to build the stable future.“
