Serbia's Security Information Agency (BIA) plans to buy ten devices to destroy documents by cutting, the Nova Ekonomija magazine reported on Tuesday.
In the public call, which estimated the cost at some 13,000 euro (1.6 million dinars), BIA said it was looking for a device to cut paper documents and optical media.
Interested companies can submit bids by August 26, and the main criteria for awarding the contract will be the price.
BIA also describes the device as being able to cut at least five sheets at a time crosswise, that the width of the paper’s entry to the device is at least 260 millimetres and the maximum capacity of the paper container should be 100 litres.
The Agency listed „DAHLE 710“ or „appropriate“ as the manufacturer of the requested devices.
