Aleksandar Vulin, Serbia's Interior Minister, said Tuesday, Croatian Prime Minister "Zoran Milanovic is one of the stupider Croatian politicians."

Vulin commented on Milanovic’s statement that Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic was an obstacle to Serbia’s European integration since he „was one of the most prominent warmongers in 1990s, adding Belgrade was not „harbouring strong intentions“ to join the bloc.

In the 1990s, Vucic’s Serbian Radical Party was briefly in coalition with the late Slobodan Milosevic’s Socialists. Current Serbia’s President was the Minister of Information, known for authoring the notorious media law that severely fined the independent outlets, leading to their closure.

Vucic is also known for his statement in the 1990s Parliament that Serbia would „kill a hundred Muslims for one Serb.“

„Politicians in Croatia are divided between open and disguised Ustashas. When unaware of being filmed, Milanovic admitted his Ustasha’s roots with honour in front of the so-called defenders, he showed he was among those in disguise, but also that he was a stupider Croatian politician,“ Vulin said in a statement.

He added Milanovic also proved that „in 2015 when he tried to close down borders with Serbia and confirms that daily by attacking Serbia and Vucic.“
