Over a dozen countries are ready to reconsider their recognition of Kosovo's independence, Serbia's Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said on Wednesday.
In an interview with the Belgrade Vecernje Novosti daily, Selakovic said that Serbia „as a small but proud country is determined to guard its political and military neutrality jealously and that it was forced to fight for its interests in a complicated environment, burdened with problems.“
Both Belgrade and Pristina were obliged to refrain from seeking the withdrawal of recognition or applying for entry to international organisations for 12 months.
The deadline expires on September 3, and neither side is bound to stick by it.
Selakovic also told the daily Vatican’s Foreign Minister Paul Richard Gallagher would visit Belgrade on November 22.
