The leaders of two Serbian opposition groups told European Parliament officials in Brussels on Tuesday that pressure is continuing on their activists, independent media and political opponents of the Vucic regime.
Dobrica Veselinovic of the Don’t Let Belgrade D(r)own movement and Nebojsa Zelenovic of the Together for Serbia party met with Tanja Fajon MEP and Demetris Papadakis MEP, a joint press release said.
It said that they warned Fajon of “obstruction by the authorities and the lack of political will to improve conditions”. Fajon is one of the European Parliament officials mediating the inter-party dialogue between the Serbian authorities and opposition to improve election conditions.
It said that they called European Union representatives to play a more decisive role in the inter-party dialogue in Serbia to improve election conditions.
