Serbian Moscow correspondent Aleksandra Godfroid joins N1

Aleksandra Godfroid, a journalist with years of experience reporting from Russia for Serbian and international media outlets is set to join the N1 team in September.

Aleksandra will join the foreign desk team which provides audiences an in depth view of global events and their potential effects on events in Serbia. She will report on major events in shows analyzing and putting global events into context.

Godfroid was a correspondent from Moscow for a number of years. She was a reporter and anchor on what was TV B92 and reported from all major events in Russia including all elections since 2003. She reported on street protests, terrorist attacks, international scandals, the armed conflicts in eastern Ukraine and the annexation of the Crimea and she had several exclusive reports from the war in Syria. She reported live and analyzed the situation in Russia at global level for Al Jazeera English in the past few years. She also has experience in Serbia as a news anchor and covering social and economic issues.

Along with Danica Vucenic who is set to anchor a daily news show covering and analyzing political events as of September, Aleksandra will significantly reinforce N1 taking part in new projects being planned for this autumn. At a time when the public is overwhelmed with misinformation and propaganda, Danica and Aleksandra bring experience and added credibility to the journalists who have made up the team of the most important news TV station in the region over the past seven years, N1 News Director Igor Bozic said.
