Serb List leads in all Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo election

According to data published on the website of the Central Election Commission of Kosovo, the Serb List is maintaining a convincing lead in all Serb-majority municipalities.

The Serb List won 81.47 percent of the votes counted so far in the municipality of Leposavic, 72 percent in the municipality of Zvecan, 92.55 percent in Zubin Potok and 54.96 percent in North Mitrovica.

Thos results are about the same in the other six municipalities in other parts of Kosovo.

According to those estimates, the Serb List won ten seats in parliament.

The eighth parliamentary elections in Kosovo since 1999 were held in Kosovo today, with the participation of 21 political parties, two coalitions and five civic initiatives.

A total of 1,052 candidates ran for the 120 seats in the Kosovo Parliament.

A total of 1,794,862 people have the right to vote at 888 voting centres with a total of 2,382 polling stations in the early parliamentary election.
