Serb List leader Goran Rakic told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti on Monday that the Kosovo Serbs have to stand together with the Serbia and its President Aleksandar Vucic.
“The Serb List had one goal since it was formed to have all Serbs in Kosovo, under one flag together with the state of Serbia and President Vucic, fighting for the interests of our people and other non-majority communities,” he said. The Serb List registered its candidates for the coming early elections to the Kosovo parliament last week.
Rakic said that it’s better for the Serb List to “fight for its citizens inside Pristina institutions” than in Serb-populated areas. “That has not been and will not be easy but it is an obligation for each of us to support our people,” he said commenting the decision to field candidates in the February 14 elections.
