Serb List officials said on Friday that they would stage protests over the suspension of a Serb regional police chief on Sunday, the KoSSev news portal reported.

They told a news conference in Mitrovica that they would meet with officials from Kosovo institutions to discuss their possible walkout a day before the protests. Serb List leader Goran Rakic said they called the news conference following all-night talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

According to him, the Kosovo Albanians are not interested in anything. “They’re not interested in the Community of Serb Municipalities, nor in the Serb people. We are concerned by the suspension of the police chief in Region North and I can say that this was the straw that broke the camel’s back and literally destroyed the Brussels Agreement leading also to the destruction of the Serb people,” he said.

Rakic said that the Kosovo Serbs would not tolerate terror adding that they told Vucic that clearly. “We will never stop, never calm donw and what is especially important this will be democratic non-violent resistance,” Rakic said and warned that “no one knows what will happen on the ground”.
