The SBB cable services provider said on Monday that it would begin free digitalization of the Serbian cities of Kraljevo and Vrsac in September.

“SBB has upgraded Internet speeds in 11 towns and cities over the past two years as part of its five-year investment plan worth 300 million Euro and has digitalized more than 80 percent of its users,” a press release said.

It recalled that Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Gornji Milanovac, Pancevo, Kragujevac, Paracin, Nis, Sombor, Uzice and Krusevac have already undergone digitalization to become GIGA Cities where Internet speed is increased automatically as part of EON packages: the EON Light package goes from 75 to 150 megabits a second, EON Full goes from 150 to 250 and EON Premium goes from 300 to 500 megabits a second. Premium Package clients in digitalized cities can get speeds of up to 1 Gbps with the Giga annex.

“SBB clients have access to digital TV on up to three devices in their homes with greater service stability at no added cost, no new contracts or new packages. The digitalization process is underway in stages in parts of the cities and every SBB client will be contacted by our technical support beforehand,” it said.

SBB said that it recommends its EON packages which include the EON Smart Box which turns every TV into a smart TV and offers a personalized TV experience as well as the EON Kids profile, rewind for up to seven days on all channels, a Video Club with more than 19,000 titles, super fast Internet and land-line phones.
