Russia’s Ambassador to Serbia Aleksander Botsan Harchenko said that Moscow wants nothing from Belgrade, adding that Russia understands that Serbia is under pressure to impose sanctions on it.

“Moscow wants nothing from Belgrade knowing the consistency of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his stand on key issues such as the development of Serbia and its foreign ppolicies,” he said commenting demands by the European Union, US and Great Britain for Serbia to impose sanctions on Russia over its military operations in Ukraine.

The ambassador said that Russia bears in mind the further development of relations with Serbia and consistent implementation of everything that Presidents Vucic and Vladimir Putin agreed. “We expect to realize every project and every existing agreement without obstruction for the benefit of Russia and Serbia,” he said.
