Activists of the association 'Ne Damo Jadar' (We Don't Give Jadar) gathered outside the info centre of the company Rio Tinto in the western town of Loznica to, as they said, support Novak Djokovic, who the Australian border police banned from entering the country despite he possessed a regular visa.

An Australian court revoked the decision to annul Djokovic’s visa, and he was now waiting for the Immigration Minister exclusive power to revoke his visa again.

His family held a news conference to celebrate his „most significant victory, more prominent than all his (20) Grand Slam titles and said he began practising at Melbourne’s ‘Rod Laver’ arena.

In Loznica, protesters threw eggs at the Rio Tinto building, after which the police detained Zlatko Kokanovic from the ‘Ne Damo Jadar’ association.

After Kokanovic’s arrest, the activists continued with the protest.

Several environmental organisations said on Sunday they would radicalise the protests against Rio Tinto and said that next Saturday, they would organise a big protest and a new blockade of the highway in Belgrade and of one of the border crossings.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said the state would respond if environmental activists block the border crossings, but also that she did not „take this kind of arrogance seriously“.
