Serbian Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic said on Thursday that President Aleksandar Vucic is faced with what he called a “united response” from Serbian and Montenegrin organized crime groups.
“A united response is logical because Serbia is striking at the Mafia and crime,” he told the pro-government TV Pink.
Dacic said he was not surprised by reports in pro-government tabloids about Russian secret services allegedly warning Vucic of a possible assassination attempt. According to him, the Serbian president faces danger from people who he created politically who now hold top state posts.
