The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said on Thursday that talks on the latest review of the economic program had started in Belgrade with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“The talks are held within the third review of the results of implementation of the agreed economic programme, supported by the Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI),” a press release said and recalled that the 30-month advisory, non-financial PCI was approved for Serbia in June 2021.

The talks, which are due to end on November 4, will focus on fiscal, monetary and overall macroeconomic developments, including the implementation of the agreed economic program and the modalities of future cooperation, the press release said.
