The second review of Serbia’s key economic programme between Belgrade and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission’s experts opened on Friday, the Bank press release said.

Serbia’s delegation is led by Jorgovanka Tabakovic, the NBS Governor and the IMF mission’s head, Jan Kees Martijn.

The IMF mission will last until March 23, and during it, the current fiscal, monetary and overall macroeconomic developments will be discussed, including the realisation of the determined quantitative and reform goals of the economic program.

The talks are a part of the second review of the implementation results of the agreed economic program, supported by the IMF with the advisory, non-financial 30-month Policy Coordination Instrument, which was approved in June 2021.
