The Montenegrin LGBTIQ association Queer Montenegro invited Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic to Montenegro to enter into a same-sex partnership with her partner because she said that she was not privileged and that she, too, is discriminated against, Vijesti reported.

“We invite Ana Brnabic to enter into a partnership with her partner in Montenegro, as many Serbian citizens do, following which they claim their rights before courts in Serbia, which, as a Council of Europe member, is obliged to ensure the rights of same-sex couples,” said Queer Montenegro in a Twitter post.

The association said that, after Brnabic’s government banned the holding of the EuroPride march on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said that she is also discriminated against and denied that she was privileged, so the association reminded her that “she can act as an activist and request to exercise her rights through the judicial system.”

Queer Montenegro provides free support and assistance to all same-sex couples when entering into a partnership, and in exercising all their related rights on this basis, and this service that we are offering to Ana Brnabic is also available to foreign citizens,” said the association.
