Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic told a meeting with European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak that the Serbian Government will strive to increase its alignment with the EU common foreign and security policy.

Dacic said Serbia will continue to work on the further harmonization of its visa policy with that of the EU when it comes to third countries and announced the adoption of appropriate decisions in the coming period, said the Foreign Ministry.

He said Serbia will continue to be a cooperative and solidary partner regarding illegal migration.

The Minister stressed that Serbia is a constructive, dedicated and predictable partner in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

Lajcak noted that the goal of the dialogue is for the two sides to reach a mutually acceptable solution and noted that the talks within the dialogue include three levels: normalization of relations, fulfilment of the already reached agreements within the dialogue and the solving of current issues.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation so far and their willingness to continue it in the future, said the Foreign Ministry press release.
