Media: Big FBI, Serbia’s and Austria’s police raid in Belgrade

Six people, suspected members of the criminal group of Dario Djordjevic, aka Dexter, were arrested in Belgrade on Tuesday, in lasting action started by the Austrian police based on information from the city's Vecernje Novosti daily reported.

The FBI also joined Serbia’s and Austria’s police in arresting members of the criminal group led by Djordjevic.

Djordjevic, aka Dexter, is allegedly a high-ranking member of the ‘Kavacki Clan’ and a close associate of Veljko Belivuk, a recently arrested criminal accused of some heinous crimes, including torture, murder and mutilation of his victims.

He was also known as the leader of a hooligan group, supporters of Belgarde Partizan FC.

Serbia’s Security-Information Agency (BIA), Interior Ministry and the Anti-organised Crime Department, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office for Organised Crime, were involved in the raid.
