Manager arrested for selling goods reserves wheat

A manager in southern Serbia was arrested for selling wheat worth more than 800,000 Euro from the national goods reserves, the Internal Affairs Ministry (MUP) said on Wednesday.

The press release said that the man identified by the initials SI, manager of the AKI Komerc company in the town of Blace, sold more than 2,400 tons of wheat owned by the Republic Goods Reserve Directorate which had been stored in his company’s storage facilities.

It said that the damage to the Directorate stood at 96,523,405 Dinars (818,000 Euro).
