Ramush Haradinaj, former premier and current Leader of the opposition Alliance for Kosovo Future (ABK), described on Wednesday Prime Minister Albin Kurti as "a common cheat" and accused him of perusing a wrong approach to the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on the normalisation of relations.
Haradinaj said Kurti should have demanded Kosovo’s recognition in Tuesday’s meeting with Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic in Brussels under the European Union auspices.
„That’s exactly what we have warned about – the danger of Kurti as a cheat. He deceives Kosovo’s people with his dangerous approach to the dialogue. That’s not a dialogue; that’s a waste of time and deception because the focus is not on mutual recognition as the main issue,“ Haradinaj told the KosovaPress news agency.
He added Kurti „ha sent the dialogue to the square one.“
