The Kosovo anti-corruption agency (AKK) is investigating Serb List leader Goran Rakic MP, the KoSSev portal reported on Tuesday.

It said that the investigation was launched following reports in Albanian-language daily Koha that Rakic failed to report income from posts he holds in Serbian companies and institutions.

An AKK press release said that the investigation was opened after it received a report about Rakic, adding that it would search for, gather and analyze relevant documents and information.

KoSSev said that the only thing that Rakic reported in 2020 was the post of deputy prime minister in Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti’s cabinet even though he held the post of CEO at the Standard communal services company in Mitrovica North and assistant professor in an economic school in the Kosovo town of Leposavic.

The portal said that Rakic is not the only Kosovo Serb official who failed to report assets and posts, adding that Slavko Simic MP did not report all his income or posts he held in Serbian institutions in Kosovo in 2019. Simic is also being investigated by the AKK.
