Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti opened the 5th Western Balkans Digital Summit in Pristina on Wednesday.
The digital summits are part of the European Commission’s Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans which was launched in 2018 in support of the region’s transition to a digital economy.
Kurti said in a Twitter post that he was proud to host the summit in Kosovo. He said that the summit was initiated within the Berlin Process and organized in cooperation with the Regional Cooperation Council. “It is an excellent forum to share experience among the Western Balkan countries and contributes to the integration of the Western Balkans into the pan-European digital market,” he wrote.
