Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti said in a conversation with the EU High Representative Josep Borrell that he is willing to respond to the invitations for the summit in Brussels if Belgrade is also ready to do so.
„The process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia was discussed at the meeting. Prime Minister Kurti said that the Government of Kosovo is a constructive party that advocates a legally binding agreement that focuses on mutual recognition,“ Kurti’s cabinet said, Kossev reported.
Kurti also welcomed the close coordination between the European Union and the United States in this process.
He met with Borrell on Saturday evening, at the end of the second day of his stay in Munich, where the annual security conference is being held.
On Saturday, he also met with EU special envoy Miroslav Lajcak, with whom he also discussed dialogue ahead of a new round of negotiations scheduled for February 22, which will determine whether and when Aleksandar Vucic and Kurti should meet.
