During his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday in Brussels Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti presented several chapters with relevant elements that should be included in the framework of a comprehensive legally binding agreement, said the Kosovo Government.

The Government said that there were two topics on the agenda of the Thursday meeting of which “the first one was a discussion on a general framework of the agreement.”

It is said that “Kurti emphasized that this agreement should be legally binding for the full normalization of relations with mutual recognition at the center.”

The second topic, said the Kosovo Government, was the current situation and security issues.

In this regard, Kurti “stressed the importance of legality and constitutionality as a guarantee of peace, security and equality for all citizens of Kosovo,” said the Kosovo Government.

Kurti thanked the European Union (EU) and its representatives “for organizing and mediating the talks, in the direction of normalizing bilateral relations between Kosovo and Serbia,” said the Government.
