Serbian Internal Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that the ban on the EuroPride 2022 march stays in place, said the Ministry.

„Due to various lies, insinuations and attempts to demean the Republic of Serbia, its legal system and its institutions, I want to inform the citizens of Serbia that no one, least of all the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has succumbed to pressure from the great powers of the West. As has already been said, the ban on the march organized by EuroPride 2022 stays in place,” Vulin said.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has banned the EuroPride march that was scheduled to be held on September 17 in Belgrade.

EuroPride Organizers have submitted a petition signed by 27,000 people calling President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic to “enable EuroPride 2022 to go ahead as planned”, along the new, shorter route, from the crossroads at the Serbian parliament to the nearby Tasmajdan park and stadium.
