Graffiti war continued in Serbia on Tuesday with unknown people destroying several of those in the northern city of Novi Sad dedicated to war criminal Ratko Mladic, former commander of the Bosnian Serb Army, sentenced to life imprisonment for Srebrenica genocide and other war crimes in the 1990s.

They threw black paint over his face and scribbled the inscription ‘Serbian hero,’ in the city’s Novo Naselje district.

Earlier, murals glorifying Mladic were destroyed and recovered several times in Belgrade as well.
