The graffiti calling for resistance has appeared in the north of Kosovo, where the majority of Serbs live, on Sunday morning . 'It is everyone's duty to resist at every step as of November 21! Brigade North', reads the graffiti.

The last time graffiti mentioning the brigade appeared was in August, and it conveyed the message: ‘Don’t worry, we’re here – Northern Brigade’, ‘NATO GO HOME! This is Serbia’ and ‘The Northern Brigade is growing day by day’.

The earlier graffiti was titled ‘Northern Brigade’ but the President of Serbia then corrected the N1 journalist and explained that it was ‘Brigade North’.

Representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo decided on November 5 to leave all institutions in Kosovo because the government in Pristina did not give up on the intention to change the license plates with the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo to the plates with the Republic of Kosovo, whose independence Serbia does not recognise.

The Government of Kosovo is persistent in its intention to change the license plates, despite the appeals of the EU and the USA to postpone the process for 10 months. As of November 21, the authorities in Pristina intend to issue fines of 150 euros to drivers who drive vehicles with Serbian license plates.
