FM Selakovic says Austrians invested more than 2.5 billion in Serbia

Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said in Vienna on Friday that Austria has invested more than 2.5 billion Euro in Serbia where 733 Austrian companies are employing 22,000 people.

Selakovic also invited his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg to visit Serbia later this year, a press release said. He said that he was told during the visit that more Austrian companies are interested in coming to Serbia.

Selakovic said that they discussed ways to help the Serbian and Austrian economies recover after the coronavirus pandemic as well as the thousands of Serbians living in Austria.
