EU providing another 10 million Euro in aid to Serbia

Serbian and European Union officials signed an agreement on an additional 10 million Euro in aid to help Serbia recover from the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The agreement was signed by European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic and EU Delegation Chief Emanuele Giaufret who said that the money is intended to help local communities deal with coming challenges. The money will be used for infrastructure, social services and economic development, he said.

Joksimovic said that the money is earmarked for the Euro Pro Plus project and is part of 30 million Euro in aid, adding that it will be used to upgrade local administrations.
