The European Parliament (EP) will debate the report on four Western Balkans’ progress at its mini-plenary session on March 25.
The debate will include Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia and a unified discussion on all four documents.
All four states are facing similar problems in the rule of law, fight against corruption, media freedom and other areas crucial for the Euro-integrations.
Serbia and Kosovo have a specific problem of unsolved mutual relations which is a crucial obstacle to their faster accession process with the European Union.
The EP Committee on Foreign Affairs will debate a final report on Montenegro on April 13. The harmonised text with amendments will be forwarded to the EP for final discussion and adoption.
The date for the debate on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress is still to be set.
