Outgoing EBRD Regional Director for the Western Balkans Zsuzsanna Hargitai told Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on Tuesday that the bank invested almost six billion Euro in projects in Serbia to date.

A government press release quoted her as saying that the investments were in projects to support the private sector, infrastructure and to improve the competitiveness of the private sector among other things. She added that the transition to a green economy will continue to be a priority for her successor Matteo Colangeli, primarily through energy efficiency projects and stronger links between the economies of the Western Balkans.
