Deputy leader of the Dveri movement Radmila Vasic filed a criminal complaint against Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic for inviting people to the EuropPride march and guaranteeing their safety, in spite of the fact that the march had been banned by the police.

Vasic told the media that she filed a criminal complaint against Brnabic for obstructing justice and causing panic and disorder.

“On September 17 the Prime Minister, in a technical mandate, invited the members of the LGBT community to a march within the EuroPride event, guaranteeing safety to all, despite the ban on the holding of the gathering that the police described as high risk,” said Vasic outside the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Vasic noted that people opposed to the Pride Parade were to march on the same day, that that event was also banned by the police and that it was not held.

Vasic said the Constitution was trampled on Saturday and that the state leadership allowed for foreign politicians to interfere in the state’s internal affairs, and added that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic allowed the LGBT community to have the Pride Parade after all following his meeting with US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill.
