Novak Djokovic’s family and fans staged a gathering in front of the Serbian parliament building for a second day, protesting his treatment by the Australian authorities.

Djokovic is in quarantine in a hotel in Melbourne waiting for a judge to rule on whether he can enter the country or not. His visa was revoked at the airport by the Australian Border Force even though he had been given a medical exemption to play at the Australian Open later in the month.

The crowd in Belgrade, including Djokovic’s parents and brother, carried Serbian flags and chanted Novak’s name. Some brought tennis rackets and balls to the peaceful gathering of several hundred people.

The first gathering on Thursday was initiated by Novak’s father Srdjan Djokovic.
