Serbia's Anti-Corruption Agency said it would initiate proceedings against Jelena Trivan, the official Gazette director, because she failed to report an additional income as the company M-tel from Bosnia and Herzegovina director, Nova daily wrote on Friday.

The Agency said Trivan was allowed to do two jobs as the director of the public company Official Gazette and the president of the Board of the Film Center of Serbia, but not for the third in BiH.

„Since Trivan is also the General Manager of M-tel ad Banja Luka, and has not reported the position, the Agency will initiate a procedure to establish whether there is a violation of the Anti-Corruption Law,“ the Agency said.

Trivan has recently been in the centre of a scandal in the film industry when the Board she headed refused to finance movies by three directors publically critical of the regime.

She was a member and deputy leader of the Democratic Party, which she left in 2014. Since then, she has not been officially affiliated with any party.
