Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic said that the European Parliament officials due to mediate the inter-party talks in Belgrade could come to the Serbian capital in July if they receive permission to travel.

He said that he was told during a meeting in Brussels with EP rapporteur for Serbian Vladimir Bilcik (which was joined online by MEP Tanja Fajon and former MEPs Eduard Kukan and Knut Fleckenstein) that they are waiting for a decision on July 1 on whether members of the European Parliament will be allowed to travel or not. If they receive permission to travel, they will come to Belgrade and we will know the details of their trip on July 1 or 2, he said.

Dacic said that he informed the EP officials about the dialogue between the authorities and opposition parties that did not want foreign mediation.
