The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin on Wednesday that 8 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 17,050.

It said that 13,791 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 2,229 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 11,100,408 with 2,371,474 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 445 hospitalized cases, including 31 patients on ventilators.
