Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed another 473 coronavirus cases and 26 fatalities among COVID patients, the healthcare authorities said on Thursday.

The new results came from 3,128 lab tests performed on the samples of those who reported infection symptoms. Bosnia’s Federation entity has so far confirmed 131,546 coronavirus cases out of 638,700 those who tested for the virus presence. A total of 115,757 COVID patients has recovered. The region’s death toll stands at 5,009. As for Republika Srpska entity, its healthcare authorities confirmed the total of 62,391 patients out of 260,737 persons tested for the virus infection. The total of 43,167 patients have recovered and 3,452 died. Brcko District reported the total of 6,416 cases since the epidemic outbreak and 301 fatalities. The total of 4,521 patients has recovered.

Croatia

In the last 24 hours, 9,069 tests have been conducted for coronavirus, and 18 percent of them, that 1,640, have turned out to be positive, the national Covid-19 crisis management team reported on Thursday.

In the last 24 hours, the Covid-related death toll has increased by 40 to 7,355. There are currently, 11,942 active cases, and of them 2,106 are hospitalized patients, including 236 patients placed on ventilators. Since 25 February 2020, when Croatia confirmed its first case of the infection with the novel virus, there have been 341,052 cases of the Covid infection, and of them 321,755 have recovered to date, including 1,793 recoveries in the last 24 hours. More than 1.85 million tests have been conducted to date. There are now 30,067 people in self-isolation. Under its vaccine rollout plan, Croatia has so far administered 979,181 doses of the vaccination. Over 760,000 people have been given at least one shot, and 218,376 of them have received both doses of the two-dose vaccine.

Montenegro

The Montenegrin Public Health Institute said that 5 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,526 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 1,423 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 112 who tested positive. There are 2,025 active cases.

Kosovo

The Kosovo National Public Health Institute said that 3 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,198 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 2,193 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 158 who tested positive. There are 7,156 active cases. Another 346 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.

North Macedonia

The North Macedonia Health Ministry said that 26 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,042 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 2,660 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 324 who tested positive. There are 11,874 active cases. Another 1,178 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.
