Bosnia and Herzegovina
A total of 132 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 12 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Friday.
In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 67 of 1,709 people tested since Thursday were positive for the virus and seven people died from the disease.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 58 of 453 people tested were positive and five COVID-19 patients died.
Bosnia’s Brcko District registered seven new coronavirus infections.
Slovenia’s government reported 331 new cases of Covid-19 cases and three more Covid-related deaths on Friday.
There are currently 348 hospitalized Covid patients in Slovenia, including 111 in intensive care units, while the average daily number of new infections has fallen from 384 to 372 week-on-week.
Slovenia’s total death toll now stands at 4,345. According to official data, a total of 608,517 people have been inoculated by Thursday, which is 29 percent of Slovenia’s total 2.1 million population. This includes 313,401 people who have received both vaccine doses.
Of 5,829 tests performed for coronavirus in Croatia in the last 24 hours, 525 have returned positive, the national Covid-19 task force reported on Friday.
There were also 28 Covid-related deaths, bringing the total death toll to date to 7,856.
Currently, there are 4,633 active cases, including 1,331 hospitalized patients, including 131 placed on ventilators. Also, 16,591 people are in self-isolation.
Since the first registered case of the infection with coronavirus on February 25 2020, nearly 1.96 million tests for coronavirus have been performed.
They have shown that 353,217 people have caught the virus, and of them, 340,728 have recovered to date.
Over the last 24 hours, two patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 2,816 tested people, 58 were positive for the coronavirus in Kosovo, it was reported on Friday.
The death toll stood at 2,239, while 101,099 patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.
At the same time, 585,613 people have been tested, and 107,178 have been confirmed infected.
In the last 24 hours, 15 patients died from COVID-19-related complications, and out of 3,487 tested people, 46 were infected with the coronavirus in North Macedonia, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
The death toll stood at 5,280, while 146,721 patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak
At the same time, 154,982 people have tested positive for the virus.
Currently, there are 2,981 active cases of infection.
