Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnian health officials reported 171 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, along with ten virus-related fatalities.

The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 79 new cases after testing 1,474 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded six deaths caused by the virus.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 85 new cases of the disease after testing 548 suspected samples. This entity also reported having two fatalities over the last 24 hours.

Brcko District health officials said they recorded seven new coronavirus cases, along with two fatalities.

Croatia

Over the past 24 hours, Croatia has registered 695 new cases of coronavirus infection and 36 related deaths, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

The number of active cases stands at 5,084. There are 1,416 COVID patients in hospitals, 148 of whom are on ventilators, and 17,490 people are in self-isolation.

To date, 1,953,059 people have been tested for the novel virus, including 7,038 in the last 24 hours.

Since 25 February 2020, when Croatia confirmed its first case of the infection, 352,692 people have been registered as having contracted coronavirus and 7,828 of them have died.

North Macedonia

Over the last 24 hours, 16 patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 2,533 tested people, 50 were infected with the coronavirus in North Macedonia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The death toll stood at 5,265, while 146,632 patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.

At the same time, 154,937 people have tested positive for the virus.

Currently, there are 3,040 active cases of infection.

Kosovo

In the last 24 hours, 55 patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 3,134 tested people, 55 were infected with the coronavirus in Kosovo, the National Public Health Institute said on Thursday.

The death toll stood at 2,237.

Currently, there are 3,940 active cases of infection.

Since the epidemic outbreak, 582,797 people have been tested, and 107,120 have been positive for the virus.

Montenegro

Over the last 24 hours, three patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 1,518 tested people, 67 were infected with the coronavirus in Montenegro, the Public Health Institute said on Thursday.

The death toll stood at 1,569, while 99,098 people have tested positive for the virus.

Currently, there are 1,193 active cases of infection.
