Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnian health officials reported 185 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, along with 19 virus-related fatalities.
The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 97 new cases after testing 2,951 samples for the new coronavirus.
The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded six deaths caused by the virus.
The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 70 new cases of the disease after testing 689 suspected samples. This entity also reported having 11 fatalities over the last 24 hours.
Brcko District health officials said they recorded 18 new coronavirus cases along with two fatalities.
In the last 24 hours of 8,004 tests taken for coronavirus in Croatia, six percent, that is 491, have turned out to be positive, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Tuesday.
The COVID-related death toll has risen by 27 to 7,765.
Currently, there are 4,871 active cases of the infection with this novel virus, and of the 1,566 are hospitalised, including 166 placed on ventilators.
Since the first registered case of the infection on 25 February 2020 in the country, Croatia has conducted more than 1.93 million tests.
As many as 350,997 have been diagnosed with this infection, and of them 338,361 have recovered including 886 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
To date, Croatia has administered about 1.37 million doses of COVID vaccines.
A total of 1,052,032 people have been given at least one dose of the vaccine, and 317,937 have been inoculated with both shots of the two-dose vaccine.
In the last 24 hours, one patient died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 4,297 tested people, 64 were positive for the coronavirus in Kosovo, media reported on Tuesday.
The death toll stood at 2,227, while 100,233 patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.
Currently, there are 4,543 active infection cases.
Over the last 24 hours, two patients died from COVID-19-related complications, and out of 2,704 tested people, 83 were positive for the coronavirus in North Macedonia, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
The death toll stood at 5,232, while 146,302 people have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.
At the same time, 154, 804 people have been confirmed infected with the virus.
Currently, there are 3,270 active cases of infection.
