Croatia

Croatia has recorded 590 new coronavirus cases and six related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national Covid-19 response team reported on Friday morning.

The number of active cases currently stands at 3,609. Of them, 744 are receiving hospital treatment, including 76 who are on ventilators. Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 245,462 have contracted the novel virus, of whom 5,570 have died and 236,283 have recovered, including 533 in the last 24 hours. A total of 14,812 people are in self-isolation. To date, 1,373,877 people have been tested, including 5,429 in the last 24 hours.

Bosnia-Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded another 621 cases of infection with the novel coronavirus and 28 fatalities among Covid-19 patients, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Thursday.

The new results came out of 3,024 lab tests performed among those who reported infection symptoms. The country reported a total of 135,513 coronavirus cases since the epidemic outbreak. To this date, 117,885 patients recovered – 242 in the last 24 hours. The coronavirus death toll stands at 5,228. Currently, there are 12,400 active cases throughout the country.

Montenegro

Montenegro reported on Friday that over the last 24 hours, nine patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 2,024 tested people 574 were infected with the coronavirus.

At the same time, 506 more patients recovered.

Slovenia

 Slovenia on Friday reported four deaths from COVID-19-related complications and 881 new coronavirus infection cases among 5,435 tested people over the last 24 hours.

There were 521 patients in hospitals, 85 of whom in intensive care units.

Kosovo

Kosovo’s Public Health Institution said on Friday that over the last 24 hours, seven patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 3,192 tested people, 564 were infected with the coronavirus.

The death toll stood at 1,634, while 61,394 patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.

At that time, 322,530 people have been tested and the virus has been confirmed in 71,908 cases.

On Friday, there were 8,800 active infection cases.

North Macedonia

Skopje’s Public Health Institute said on Friday that over the last 24 hours, 11 patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 3,519 tested people, 843 were infected with the coronavirus.

The death toll in the country stood at 3,176 patients, while 94,275 have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.

At the same time, 106,110 people have been infected.

On Friday, there were 8,659 active cases of the infection.
