Croatia

In the past 24 hours 688 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Croatia, twice as many as the day before, and 15 COVID-19 patients have died, the national COVID response team said on Wednesday.

Currently, there are 2,679 active cases, including 791 hospitalized patients, of whom 63 are on ventilators, and 12,218 people are self-isolating.

To date, 1,321,336 people have been tested for the virus, including 7,763 in the past 24 hours.
Since 25 February 2020, when the new virus was first registered in Croatia, 241,048 people have been infected, 5,477 have died and 232,892 have recovered, including 195 in the past 24 hours.

Bosnia-Herzegovina

Bosnia has registered nearly 600 new coronavirus cases and 17 COVID-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities reported on Wednesday.

Of the 2,346 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Tuesday, 384 were positive for the virus and eight COVID-19 patients passed away.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 766 people were tested and 176 of them were positive for the virus, while eight died due to the disease.

Bosnia’s Brcko District registered 17 new infections, and one COVID-19 patient died.

More than 129,000 people tested positive for the virus in Bosnia since the beginning of the pandemic and more than 113,000 of them have recovered so far.

Bosnia’s COVID-19 death toll has surpassed 5,000.

Kosovo

The Kosovo authorities said that three people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,582 since the pandemic broke out.

The authorities in Pristina said that 3,138 people were tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus including 461 who tested positive, adding that this is the highest number of new cases in the past two months. There are 6,968 active cases. Another 319 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total ot 58,919.

Montenegro

Montenegro’s Public Health Institute said that seven people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours bringing the total to 976 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 2,263 people were tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus including 643 who tested positive. There are 8,471 active cases. A total of 73,612 people have tested positive since the pandemic broke out.
